  • 1012 slices sandwich bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter, for cooking
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and cranberry sauce until semi-incorporated.
  2. In another bowl, whisk eggs with milk, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Remove crusts from bread slices and flatten with a rolling pin.
  4. Spread 1-2 teaspoons of cranberry cream cheese mixture along one edge of each bread slice.
  5. Roll up the bread tightly around the filling.
  6. Melt butter in a pan and coat the rolls in the egg mixture.
  7. Place rolls seam side down in the pan, cooking 3-4 at a time.
  8. Turn rolls until all sides are browned. Repeat with remaining rolls.
  9. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar.
